Overpriced Dumpy little joint. Perhaps, they are sitting on their laurels… It is time to re-evalute their staffing….Although, the owner was very kind to point out that she was aware that the air circulation was under par, and that they should fix their fan, which was long over do… They just hadn’t cared to, since it was winter….Yet, in 87 degree weather, you would think it a good idea to at least turn the a/c on. It was so warm in the cafe that their pitchers of ice tea and lemonade had totally melted, yet the waiters kept serving it…. They continually sat around and exchanged stories when they could have been checking on their customers or perhaps helping the customers make smart decisions. The stack of dishes in the hallway was at least two feet high and disgusting to look at. But, they do hire people to wash dishes late in the afternoon…. So, just let the flies have a field day with the open door and heat…. sure… Maybe, it is time to rethink this strategy of nickel and dime-ing their customers… Why wasn’t this setting the ideal location for a quaint lunch? Because they were lazy and thoughtless….Being overconfident or maybe struggling a little…Maybe if you had to buy a salad, a pizza and two soft drinks and the total came to $49… You would ask yourself, how is that possible… They claim not to be a MOM and POP cafe….. Although, they look like it… the prices are not balanced… You are not paying for the ambience or the service… that was why I gave this such a low rating…The chopped salad was much better across the street at Vitello’s, and you can enjoy a lovely happy hour… NO real comparison in service or ambience…. Their pizza tasted LOVELY, but it took forever to be brought to the table… just not worth $27 .You can get a great pizza at the YARD HOUSE at happy hour for MUCH MUCH less…. and the crust is fabulous….They may need to change their status from $$ to $$$…NOT happy. The owners could have redeemed themselves had they offered to invite us back and see them in a different light… They did not really care so much…So, I Do not want to recommend them as an ideal place for dining lest they change their attitude and clean things up,including pricing…

Came in for weekend brunch because Aroma, down the street had a line down the block. Big mistake! The laminated menu was sticky and dirty, and breakfast options seemed a bit pretentious for a pizza place. I ended up with two jumbo eggs, toast, and fruit. I listened to the server go from table to table telling patrons their food will be out soon. Twenty minutes later my more then simple meal came out. It is hard to mess up scrambled eggs and toast, so kudos for those being good but I could have done without the mold on my fruit. Perhaps pizza should be all you guys do.

Great Garlic knots, pizza and salad… The problem with this place is it is not the cleanest. The silverware is in a box on the table…The bathroom is unspeakable. But the food itself is pretty good. Not a place I would go out of my way for.. But good.

The secret to a good experience here: avoid it when there are more than three parties seated. That will be the only time your food will arrive in under 45 minutes. Food is good but not so good you’ll put up with lousy service.20 Mar, 2009The food just is not good enough to justify tolerating the consistently atrocious service, which is a shame because the food is good. Beet salad is excellent, some good sandwich choices, but I have never had the patience to wait for one of their pizzas because they take as long as a full hour before bringing it out to you. I have given up on Caioti and refuse to patronize them any more.

I was here with my family and was very hungry. We ordered and service was porus at best. 30 minutes later a pizza which my parents were splitting and a salad which my sister ordered came out. I ordered a simple pasta with marinara sauce which NEVER came out. We told the waiter who didn’t seem to care and asked for the check. When it arrived, the pasta was charged to our table. Rediculous!! So, in review, we got bad service, I didn’t even recieve what I ordered and got charged for it. Thanks for nothing Caioti, literally.

Great local place. This place will get you on smell alone…it’s hard to walk past!!!I think that the pizza is delicious, love the salads and those little bread rolls are sinful. I am a big fan of the fact that you can bring your own bottle of wine…the one drawback is that the place is pretty small and if you have more than 4 people, it can be tough getting a table. All in all, a yummy breakfast, lunch or dinner…especially if you are not in the mood for waiting in line down at aroma.
