Skip this one. I normally trust restaurants that have a better than 70% ‘like’ on urbanpsoon, but here i had a pretty negative experience allbeit it was only one time. the delivery was a disaster. after them having put a flyer in my mailbox for delivery, the guy on the phone promised 55 minutes and the guy showed up exactly 1 hand a half hours later. i called multiple times to check on the order but was put on hold every time, one time for 7 minutes. to their credit, the guy finally called back and offered $15 off the order which was 20 percent off. fine – we opened the food. basically it is salt in different colors. everything – tika masala, saag, tandori – was over salted. the brown rice was over cooked. the samosas (we asked for one veggie one lamb and they put two lamb) was dreadful, dry and flavorless. it is hard not to binge on indian food, but this one was not so hard. i rarely give negative reviews and i tend to focus on restaurants i like, but this place has some work to do to get better.
I’m hopelessly devoted to the Chicken Makhni. If I could bathe in it, I would. I love this place and always had good experiences with the delivery guys.
The service horrible. It took forever to get food. Once you got the food it was great.
AMAZING LUNCH SPECIALS. Go for lunch! NOT dinner! I usually go with a friend and we’ll share the chicken tikki masala and the saag/palak paneer lunch specials. They come with salad, rice, main entree, dal of the day, raita, and naan. Also when you sit down they will bring you papadam with the most amazing pumpkin chutney ever. I could eat pounds of this stuff and usually ask for more to go along with the massive plate of food they bring me for lunch. The lunch specials are also less than $10 which makes me quite happy.
My favorite Indian food ever!
The service was good and the food was tasty…a little salty though
It’s a very nice restaurant with excellent service. I never went more then three minutes without a refill being offered and the staff was very willing to please.
