Pork belly is my thing so after seeing the pork belly skewers online, I had to try them. Me and a friend waited for about half an hour to get a table which isn’t bad considering how packed the place was. While we waited, we grabbed a few brews at the bar and stood around chatting. The atmosphere was great like most gastropubs and the beer selection was pretty good. We finally got our table and ordered food right away. The dish I originally came for (pork belly) did not let me down. The pork belly literally melts in your mouth. The other highlight was the bistro burger…very tasty. This place is pretty cool and very laid back. Great place to grab beers and food in Studio City.Visit date 2/21/2014
More bar than restaurant. More of a bar than a restaurant. They have a good gastropub-type menu, with a nice array of vegetarian options as well as meaty ones. And very tasty cocktails, as well as a decent tap list. But you have to navigate the crowd to order at the bar, then make your way back with drinks in hand. I’d like this place better if it was full-service. And the noise level was a bit off the charts.
Meat Meat and More Meat come on! Laurel Tavern Apparently didn’t get the memo.. The menu mainly consist of pork and beef. No one wants to eat this unhealthy these days.
Good prices, food, service and beer selection.
Hamburgers were OK…. Peppered steak fries were better.
