I no longer make my own potato salad, I buy it by the quart from Uncle Andre’s. Just as good as my grandmother and mother made. I LOVE it! takes me right back to Louisiana. Also love the gumbo.

It takes from 15 to 35 mins.If you’ve ever been to a Southern slow cook family place – it takes time there too. Just call ahead.I’m from the South – I love serious bar b que and down home food…………..especially creole.I was in heaven – the best collards I’ve had in LA- really great baked beans and cole slaw.I had the beef ribs- and I’m going back to try the sausage and pulled pork and baby backs.Now I love my Mr. Cecil’s for the baby backs and green beans, I have grown to like – not love – Kansas City bbq just because it’s different – I ADORE the little bbq shack on victory……. and this is up there with those.(I don’t love boneyard bistro…..the sides need serious work and the ribs were smokey but not good )So… if you want to put some South in your mouth….go pick up a meal or two from Uncle Andre’…and you won’t be sorry….but you may be whistlin’ Dixie…….
Worst experience EVER!!!. I am so incredibly understanding about the people that work in restaurant service positions…BUT, the service at this place is so bad, i have to tell the world!!! ONE HOUR AND A HALF TO PREPARE TWO CHICKEN DINNERS!!! I’VE NEVER EVER EVER SEEN ANYTHING LIKE IT. trust me….do not go to this restaurant for any reason. no food (especially this stuff) is worth it!!! i wouldn’t go back if they were giving away free food!
