Perfect ALL THE TIME! We love this spot. My kids are actors and we are often in the Studio City area. The service is impeccable. The food is consistently amazing. They have tons of gluten free options…the scratch kitchen makes it easy to order and make adjustments for food allergies. The management is top notch and always makes you feel like a celebrity even it you’re not!The arugula and avocado salad is the perfect way to start your meal… the pizza is sublime, but you also can’t go wrong with the mussels…AND they made us slices of the GF pizza crust to dip into the sauce!Now, the bar…well let’s just say…I used to be a bartender and I make a MEAN Vodka martini…but I can drink their’s all night…smooth and perfect. I couldn’t make them any better. No matter who is bartending they are consistently good.Can’t wait to go back…see ya’ll soon!
Vitellos was an exceptional dining experience for my entire group and I. Two of us are gluten & dairy free and it was the BEST gluten free food I’ve had in a LONG time. The rice pasta spaghetti was cooked to perfection, with fresh olive oil, garlic cloves, fresh basil leaves and spicy tomatoes. My husband got the regular lasagna and RAVED! The staff was so nice and attentive to our large group and the restaurant was beautiful. noshandnurture.com
VITELLO’S IS FANTASTIC. We were looking for a new local jazz spot to take the place of our dearly-loved Charlie-O’s, which is now closed down. And we had heard such good things about Vitello’s. So we went there for a birthday dinner. The food is the best Italian cuisine I have ever tasted, the service excellent, and the vibe is warm and friendly. We plan to go to their upstairs jazz room soon, since they have some great musicians on their venue. I am happy to have found this jewel.
We didn’t stay for the jazz but I pray it was better than the food. This is the Valley’s answer to Los Feliz Palermo but without the Pizza Rosa. Italian food as imagined by third generation escapees from Jersey.
My kind of place. I love this place! From the charming, old school Italian ambiance to the unusual but equally charming opera room this place is great. I’ve been eating at Vitello’s for year’s and I have never had a bad experience or a less than par meal. I especially love their Margherita Pizzetti as an appetizer. Every time I walk in the door I am greeted by either the friendly host or one of the managers like I am a close friend or member of the family. Take my advice, If you haven’t been here before, definitely give it a try. If you are feeling adventurous, go on Opera Night and be serenaded by the singers of the house while you enjoy a glass of Chianti and a home-made Italian dinner.
