Nice surprise. Visiting from Florida. Picked from this site. Good margaritas. Great small salad of mixed greens, no iceberg. Sides of beans and rice right size and good. Calamari fajitas awesome. Not fried. Wish we had a place at home that can serve food like this.Perfect service. Cannot believe this place isn’t busy at dinner hour n a Friday. Maybe everyone’s stuck on the 405 or the 101 or whatever. Would come back in a heartbeat if I lived here. Giant block of flan for dessert. Amazing.

CAN YOU SAY MARGARITA CART!? We love going here. It’s fresh, it’s classic, it’s a bit of a twisted image, considering all the Casablanca memorabilia plastered to the walls from decades ago, which makes it perfect! Chip comes around with the marg cart and shares stories, the tortillas are amazing plain…and it has just what keeps us coming back every trip to LA.

Needed a late dinner and this was open until 10:00. The atmosphere was very funky and lively with live music playing in the main dining room. We opted for that room as the bar was too noisy to hear each other talk. The waiters were great and helped with our selection. Really liked the Tequila taxi that came to the table. Good was good. Could have used a bit more flavor but overall worth the visit.

MARGARITA CART!!. They bring around a cart full of top shelf tequila which is amazing. There is an open flame in the middle of the restaurant with a person making fresh flour tortillas that are sooo good! The atmosphere is surreal, and I am sure if you have seen the movie ‘Casablanca’ it will make sense to you.

Great handmade flour tortillas and calamie steaks, but drenched in fatty sauce and overcooked vegetables.
