As someone who isn’t too skilled in classic French cuisine, I have to say that I loved this cafe. The food was absolutely delicious (and affordable), and it reminded me of one of those little corner cafes you’d find in Europe The employees were all French as well, so it definitely made it feel that much more authentic.The little general store area was cool, too. You could buy variations of French soaps and spices, candies, and other souvenirs. It’s an awesome stop if you’re on your way to or from the beach.
Un Cafe Delicieux!. Ate breakfast here with a friend on a trip through LA. Some of the best black coffee I’ve had in ages. Had the Cheval; over-easy eggs on toast with ham and cheese. Salad on the side. Never thought I’d like salad for breakfast, but it turned out to be genius! Seems like the perfect little place for a weekend brunch with a couple good friends. The small parking lot fills up fast and getting out of it can be a contorted process. Loved that the patio is dog-friendly.
