Consistently fantasticI live about 10 to 15 minutes away from this place and have lost count the number of times I have dropped in for a to go container of their fabulous salmon belly salad, butter lettuce salad, burgers, or sandwiches.Everything is damn good here. The servers behind the counter are always friendly and eager to please. They also know their s**t and can recommend items that aren’t on the menu board or in the case, such as the aforementioned lettuce salad (be careful, it’s a large salad and not just another side).Highly recommended.
I’m writing this review only based on their chocolate chip sunflower cookies, because it is what I believe to be one of the best cookies I’ve ever had. I know I know, that’s a big statement when the world offers so much to choose from. It’s on par with The Corner Bakery’s M&M sugar cookie. It’s chocolatey, chunky, chewy, salty and the sunflower seeds give it a pretty remarkable touch that somewhat makes you believe you are eating something not loaded with sugar and butter and is actually good for you. Ok it’s good for your soul. Regardless, try these cookies …. it’ll help you forget about all the pretentious hipsters you have to dodge to get there. Oh and I made them myself… visit my blog to get the recipe. sundayspentcooking.com
