Love The High BAR. First sundown High Bar adventure was on a Saturday when I was feeling.so-so. Between jet lag and a sinus situation my body didn’t want to play but I was close-by and had never been there. Although I only stayed for just over an hour and rarely eat hot dogs ($9 no less plus wine another $9) it was one of the best bar experiences ever. The setting is stunning and the layout near perfect. It was packed with mellow, fun, healthy looking people. Feels So CA beachy. The hot dog was so delicious.Smoked, grilled with jalapeos and with great sauce, wanted seconds. Also wanted to stay much longer because of the wonderful vibe.Can’t wait to.get back and bring some friends early.November. John Edward
Great view…but that is it…don’t expect more.. Great view however all of that was overshadowed by the rude hostess and ineffective Food and Beverage managers who did nothing to resolve the seating issues with our group despite the fact that we were the only customers in the place. Ended up leaving after a few rounds of drinks and taking our business to James’ Beach where we were cheerfully accommodated and received all around excellent service…and the food was fantastic!Called to complain to the hotel management about our experience and was told the manager would call me back which he never did. Skip this place…there are too many others that are much better and actually appreciate your business!
Go for the ambiance about an hour prior to sunset…so worth an interesting drink & the view

Nothing better than sitting outside on some comfy cushions with my husband under blankets, having drinks and munching on yummy bar food! Great spot!
Great view. Comfy seats with a modern atmosphere on the rooftop of Hotel Erwin. Fantastic views of all of L.A. This is the place to go to show someone L.A. The food and drinks were excellent as well.
