One of my old time favorites and still going strong after all these years. Many choices around but for a bar with good vibes and some class you can’t go wrong here.Prices have gotten too expensive for food, but still they get the young crowd that wants to get wasted. I really think if they offered better prices then the place will get more business early evenings and weekdays.

Terrible Lobster Dinner. I had the lobster when it was on special and it was so chewy, I couldn’t eat it.A+ for the delicious white peach margaritas though!

I LOVE this place!!!. James’ Beach is by far one of my favorite restaurants in the entire Southern California area to eat out with my girlfriends. The food is always excellent and they serve up delicious drinks. Definitely recommend others try it too!

Way too expensive for what their serving. Salad, plate of greens and a red balsamic, so so. Creamed spinach, either give me a spoon or a straw cause this won’t stay on a fork. And the fried chicken is just ok. The room has a nice vibe, but I doubt we’ll be back…

A Bit Disappointed. Had dinner at James’ Beach recently and was a bit disappointed. The main dining room had a strong fish smell to it so we opted for the patio seating. Relaxing atmosphere but proximity to the bar and the young beach party crowd may not be right for everyone. Appetizers of Calamari and Fried Oysters were good but I was disappointed in the famous Fish Tacos. Served as a create-your-own plate the fish filet was nice presentation but I found the dish a bit bland overall between fish and side options. OK food, but didn’t meet expectations I had going in.
