The new ownership should change the name of this place from Joni’s to the I’M SORRY CAFE. I’ve been vacationing within walking distance of Joni’s since the days of the original owner before Joni, and only had positive experiences. Sunday we ordered breakfast but it was lunch time before we got our food.Busy is one thing, but it’s only eggs we’re talking about. The next day they were not busy, but they completely lost our order. I got my money back and left, wondering how they could demolish 25 years of good feelings in two messed up days. I like their coffee, but why did I need to warm it in a microwave right after they made it? Why is the refill pot always empty? Why do I have to ask them to refill the whole milk? You’re supposed to keep up with these things.I used to sing their praises, now I’m baffled by the incompetence.
Breakfast is tops here. World class multigrain pancakes, terrific bacon and English Bangers. Sadly.It’s true the coffee is very good. But it was better a while back.
Simple straight forward… Joni’s serves up a very good breakfast. The bacon is exceptional…
