Good food, poor service. The food was pretty good. The sushi rolls and the tempura veggies were all very good. The salad and soup was average. The wait staff ignored us for long periods and complained about splitting the check for two people even though they happily split the check for the rest of the table. Not worth it, I’m sure there are better sushi restaurants in the area.
Good food but don’t go near the bar lounge.. I’ve been eating at Kifune for about 15 years and the food is mostly always good and consistent. However, I urge those who simply want a dining experience to stay away from the bar lounge area as it often gets very rowdy and unruly with regulars who use it as their nightly drinking watering hole.
Tasty. The atmosphere is rather unassuming, but the food is excellent. The tempura is nice and light and the quality of the fish used in the sushi was excellent.
