great Asian fusion tacos and other dishes.
Well located next to Venice beach, Nice Ambience, good food.I tried blazin shrimp bowl and asian marinated chicken burrito. The Shrimp bowl was spicy and delicious while the burrito tasted sweet with the oranges in it. So thumbs up for shrimp bowl and thumbs down for burrito.
Simple concept and nice food. Everything is kept minimalistic and yet in a nice way. The food is asian inspired with lot of veg and non-veg variety. The service is very fast too. They have free fountain top ups which is cool. Their fried rice with meat selections is very good.
Yesterday I popped into Komodo’s Santa Monica location on main St. with my 5 & 7 yr old kids who each gave it 2 thumbs up..Komodo is gourmet street food prepared with local & organic farmers market ingredients.The menu is vast, its inexpensive, HUGE portions, fast and friendly service, creatives dishes all coming from a spotless kitchen.I really like this place. Some of the best tacos in LA and the most creative! But don’t just limit yourself to the tacos – their specials are always incredible, the pho burrito is amazing, the tater tots are out of this world, and the nasi goreng is so addictive that you’ll be craving it even after you finish. Still Super Good. Found Komodo, Venice Beach in November. It was one of my best dinning experience in LA. Looked forward to going back. Was not disappointed. The whole experience is very satisfying. Wonderful food with many choices, Fun staff and a simple but appealing design and layout. Very comfortable. Went once, will be back soon!. I visited LA last month, and stopped in at Komodo for some tacos after a few drinks on the boardwalk. The MP3 tacos were delicious, and had a very cute presentation. The truffle fries were some of the best fries I have tasted! My one critique would have to be the ambiance, as I felt the food did not match the decor. But, I will be in LA next week, and I will surely stop in at Komodo for another tasty meal.
