Very good food, authentic Mexican down to the decor of the restaurant. We had nachos with beef, tacos and burritos. Some of the best non modern Mexican food we’ve eaten in California.

GREAT!!!. The best mexican food we ever had and we went to La Fiesta Brava in the same week we went to Mexico…the food is amazing!! the place is very modest but well care and clean, me and my family loved it and wish we had more time in Venice to go back…one day we will. Don’t leave without trying the flan 🙂 now I understand why someone write about having seconds thoughts on telling about this place…after you find it, you want to keep it only for you.thanks for the great meal and hospitality.Obrigada!
So dissapointed !!!. Mari & I always saw this place on Rose and we wondered how this place would be. So I looked it up and saw all these great reviews. So we said lets go and try this place, we are very particular when it comes to eating Mexican food. We are Mexican and do know what is really good Mexican food.So here we are in La Fiesta Brava, Nothing really caught my eye on the menu so I just had the Taco’s 1 Asada, 1 Fish & 1 Carnitas. Mari had the Carnitas also. Mari asked the waitress if the Carnitas were fried and not boiled you can’t have boiled Carnitas for a taco and said she did know’ so she asked the chef he advised they were fried. Well we must say the Tacos were not good at all the Carnitas tasted terrible the asada just didn’t taste like asada and they put green salsa on the taco which you do not serve with an asada taco it’s simple red meat red salsa white meat green salsa. The Fish Taco had no flavor at all, terrible. We were very dissapointed because this was a hole in the wall kind of place and usually they are pretty descent. Sorry guys !Our overall rating for food: D+For Service: C
Best in Venice. Haven’t found better. Sam is the best. One of my favorites.
Kinda hate to tell those who aren’t my closest friends, but I can’t keep it a secret–Fiesta Brava rocks!
