This is a little gem of a specialty coffee shop around the corner from the Venice boardwalk. Complete with friendly baristas and a turntable churning out an eclectic mix of music on vinyl. They get their beans from Cat & Cloud, a local roaster. Excellent cappuccinos and coffee cake. Walk in and go to the right side of the counter and order directly from the barista, pick up and pay on the left. It can be crowded but the system works- be patient as the line moves and you will be rewarded with caffeine laced goodness with which you can grab a seat and people watch.
