This hip spot offers a lovely contemporary atmosphere to dine. Unique takes on traditional dishes like gyoza with their tuna gyoza don’t exactly work and taste more like a quesadilla while others like the ankimo are beautifully prepared to enhance the flavours. Lovely and friendly waitstaff but quite overpriced uni for 1/2 the portion I’d get elsewhere. The miso saba is very nice and with brown rice makes a nice small meal. Overall there are wows and disappointments. It’s a good spot for the sushi-noob but be prepared to empty your wallet. Nice way to impress a girl…, 😉
I liked it but…….. The portions were tiny, the prices were huge. I prefer places with larger portions and moderate prices. The food was good, just not enough, and I am not a big eater. This restaurant is for people with unlimited financial resources.
