Great Location but Average food. Here is my take on my resent visit to this place along with my friends for dinner. The view from Patio is great, if there is still some sunlight outside. Now the most important things, food. We ordered a couple of appetizers and they we just OK. We had to ask for bread a couple of times before it was brought. The dip we ordered (I guess it was spinach and cheese) was very average. My pasta was over salty and I could not really enjoy the flavors. Even the seafood that my friends ordered was just about average. I think you pay just for the location of this restaurant.
Great!. Great food, great service, great bar and reasonable for LA! Will be back
Very good food and service. And as a boater, I loved the view of the marina
Late lunch. I had the double stuffed burger which was very good. The bun was light and crispy and the burger was juicy. The fries were small, thin and crispy. I also ordered the calamari which was just okay. The flavor was bland, but thanks to the marinara sauce , they were edible. The bar itself was great with seating outdoors or by the super long bar with a bank of tvs on the wall with everything sports, or what ever yuo want.
Amazing crab cakes!
Went for breakfast. Staff was nice. Selection was pretty good and they had some interesting choices. Good bloody mary.
Stuck on the 405 Near Marina del Rey?. Trying to go from North to South in afternoon rush hour? Jump off the freeway and head to Marina del Rey for dinner. At 6PM on a weekday it was no problem to get a table. An affable William was my waiter who quickly got a drink order to the table, a decent Manhattan. After perusing the extensive menus I gambled and ordered the fried clam appetizer. Passable, but not great. Too much batter for my liking and not too many clams. Why can’t restaurants replicate the Howard Johnson’s tender sweet fried clams of yesteryear? They are the bench mark. No matter. Next came a nice Iceberg Lettuce wedge, crispy and fresh with an unremarkable blue cheese dressing. Forgot to order the dressing on the side, which I would recommend doing as the moisture in the lettuce dilutes the dressing. Followed with a main course of grilled swordfish which arrived piping hot after being lifted off the grill and was cooked to perfection by Carlos, the grill man who really seems to know what he is doing with a sword fish steak. The fish was beautifully grill marked and absolutely melted in my mouth. Not a bit dry, or undercooked as can happen to swordfish. Last bite was as good as the first.
