Laid back and cozy. We went to Venice Beach Wines for an early pre-Valentine’s Day afternoon on Sunday. It was wonderful, as always. The food is great. We try out something different every time and have never been disappointed. The servers are attentive and know their wines. We tried some reds and all were top notch.

The concept is equal parts wine shop, wine bar, and restaurant, and Venice Beach Wines delivers casual excellence to patrons seeking each experience.Stepping off of the sidewalk and into the intimate outside patio, you will be immediately welcomed by the friendly staff. The team, led by General Manager Johnnie Jenkins, is passionate about food and wine, and they create a casual and relaxed setting for Venice locals and guests from far and wide.Venice Beach Wines does not take reservations and frequently operates at capacity (a good sign in the restaurant business), but if you arrive early or wait patiently, you will be in for a unique wine and food experience. Chef Jill Davie, formerly of Josie, has been featured on several Food Network shows and her delicious menu of pressed sandwiches, cheese and charcuterie plates, and daily small dish specials, is the perfect compliment to the well-chosen wine list.The Scene: AWOL (Always West Of Lincoln) locals and visitors from East of Lincoln line the benches and mingle in the intimate patio.Inclusion worthy notes: The food and wine selections are as diverse as the crowd, and like the scene, can be enjoyed individually or shared.
Perfect locals joint. Charcuterie, wines & cheeses are decadent. Staff is beyond sweet. I love Venice!!!!
I love venice beach wines. They have an Amazing selection of wines, great pressed sandwiches, salads, and cheese platter. I higly recomend it to any one in the Venice-Santa monica area
