After a long day at the beach my best friend and I were deciding whether we wanted Italian or American.I had this little restaurant bookmarked because we always park down the street and we walk right by it when going to the beach. It always caught my attention because of the weird location and weird outside area, which is always empty. It seems like it was a house turned restaurant. Finally I told her this place has awesome reviews so we walked in. This place is $$$First of all NO alcohol!! But you can bring your own bottle. With a corkage fee of $10-12 something like that. Clearly not worth it unless you have a large party. And I would NOT recommend coming here with a large group there’s no space inside. If you don’t have wine the closest shop would be the overpriced liquor store down the street. I have to say The pasta Della notta is amazing. Spaghetti and meat sauce is One of my all time favorite dishes! The sauce is hearty but not too meaty and flavorful. Wow! Made my little taste buds dance. But highly OVERPRICED at $19. I mean come on!!!Service that day was weird and not very good though. If you want a soda you can just grab it from the cooler in the front room which is fine. Now my friend…. Ordered the margarita pizza. It literally turned out to be a cheese pizza. So she asked if the order was messed up and the girl said no this is our margarita pizza. Didn’t even have basil on it. So she brought out a tiny bit to put on top. For a whopping $14!!!I understand the description says tomato sauce , mozzarella cheese and basil. But sometimes a good margarita comes with tomatoes on top at least.A good margarita pizza has pieces of mozzarella on the pizza not just sauce and wholesale shredded melted mozzarella. That goes to show they just care about $$ and not the customers unfortunately. That pizza should cost $9 the most. The best thing that came out of her meal was that I feed a hungry homeless man, basically a whole cheese pizza. I would return but for that pasta dish at $19 I am positive I can find a place with better service and food around the corner. 🙁
