Tasty Food & Friendly Service. If you are looking for a neat dining experience, then The Yellow Deli is the place for you. Word is, the place was built from the ground up by the people working there and living out at their farm (where all their fresh produce comes from). There are so many amazing works of art both architecturally and decoratively in this place it is definitely worth a walk around the place. The mood in the place is very relaxing and welcoming. I eat there a few times a month and the service has always been good and the people working are always very friendly and genuine. Oh yeah, the food is DELICIOUS and the price is right. I would recommend this place to anyone.
Only go if you have 2 hours set aside to eat. The service at this place is the worst I’ve ever experienced. Having said that, the food is excellent and it is a really funky, interesting place. The staff consists of some weird hippie cult.
Great green chai latte! Wonderful atmosphere!! Surprising in Vista!
The food was very healthy and reasonably priced! And it has a very earthy feel to it. I thought it was a hippy kinda place but than a nice man gave me one of the Magazines and it’s intresting it’s a religion that runs it.
Horrible Customer Service. First time to the Yellow Deli and was not impressed at all. Had high expectations, went in were immediately seated but then unable to get any service, had to call over the host who seemed unwilling to take our order. He kept looking around for another waiter, finally when he took our order it took a decent amount of time to get our meal which was good loved the food. But once we finished we started to set up to do some work because supposedly this place is laptop work friendly NOT! A waiter comes over to us (whether he was assigned to our table or not is a mystery) tells us we can stay for however long we want and then five minutes later comes over and tells us we need to leave because there is a waiting list. There were only two people waiting to be seated! And there were tables elsewhere that were open. The food and the quaint building might have been cool but don’t go if you want to be treated well.
Do not miss this experience! More than just a deli. All the food is nutritious & the building interior is a work of art all hand crafted. Everyone is a lovely servant. A special experience. Wednesdays is a farmers market & evening folk concert.
Wonderful organic, healthy food, served in a beautiful sprawling building built by the commune members who own it. A must-visit place.
