Been coming here for 5+ years and I have never been disappointed with the quality or taste of their food. I always make my own sandwich. Always on an onion roll, always delicious. Their desserts are amazing.They are open 24/5 and believe it or not the longest wait for a table is around midnight. This is due to the fact that a lot of students will order food abs stay at their table and study for hours. The people who run the place are always nice and hospitable. samanthajeet.com
Local spot. This is a great spot. How impressive is the building and history of it? Awesome! The food is so delicious too, even if it takes a while, it’s worth the wait. The atmosphere is so quaint and the food is delicious. My husband prefers a larger portion so when we go to lunch we go to that little Italian spot by the Court House that has the $6.99 lunch specials, I think it’s called Via Sicilias. What a deal for lunch that place has! When I had one of the $6.99 lunches I picked the Sea Bass with roma tomatoes and rice pilaf, it was perfect.There were a few other options like vegetarian lasagna, meatball sandwich, or spaghetti or something. All of them included a drink and a choice of soup or salad. I chose the Lentil with bacon soup- delicious! I can’t believe the price for what I received. I have never seen anything like it! I love the variety that North San Diego has to offer!!!
