Im from new york & ive hade pizza all over san diego cuz I brive for living & uncle tony have the best pizza. In sandiego county hands down.
Very friendly, child friendly, lovely food and good prices.. We will remember this visit even when we are back home in Texas
Amazing Italian!. It is hard to find authentic Italian food… anyone can make delivery quality pizza. However, Tony is always serving the best pizza and pasta I have had on the West Coast! Thank goodness for Uncle Tony’s or I would be stuck with inferior Italian food! Then you add the fact that they have tons of beer on tap and amazing tiramisu… well I want to go back again already!
This place is small in size but huge in flavor. We had the sauted Calamari, Veal parmesian and Eggplant Parmesian which were as good as I’ve ever had
Very good, family run restaurant. Great food with a hole-in-the-wall location. Soup was delicious as was the calamari. The Chicken Marsala was excellent with good portion of white meat chicken. Too full for dessert but maybe next time. Others in the restaurant were heard to enjoy their meal just as much.
Amazing, alittle on the expensive side but great food!
Best Italian in North County. I can’t believe only 1 other person has reviewed Uncle Tony’s! This is the best Italian place in North County by far.Pizza? Best I’ve had since leaving Chicago. Fresh ingredients, expertly baked. (My favorite – the margherita.) Sandwiches? Try the Eggplant Parmigiana, seriously. Appetizers? Fried calamari to die for. Dessert? Have a cannoli, please. If you want to watch your favorite sporting events, they’ve got 3 TVs. 10 beers on tap, plus a wine list. Tony and his staff (mostly family) are always friendly, always ready to do what they can to make sure their customers have a good meal and a good time.
