Great pit stop for some very good, inexpensive food. Hard shell tacos to shredded beef wet burritos to flautas… A must try and and very likely to become a returning customer.
Fantastic! I had their carnitas. Dry, flaky and flavorful. Try their homemade Orchata, a delicious milk/cinnamon drink. I probably spelled that wrong. But seriously good food!
Carnitas Burritos (dish review). Alright, I give up. I just surrender. These are the absolute kings of the carnitas burrito in SoCal. They combine a huge helping of tender, delicious pork with various other delectable ingredients to make a dish you can eat any time of the day, any day (or every day) of your life.*Just for note: I haven’t been to this place in quite a long time. This review is from memory.08 Jun, 2011El Patio Drive In (Mexican). Oh, the Carnitas! El Patio serves, hands down, the best carnitas burritos I’ve ever had. They are tender, juicy, and above all, well, tender and juicy sums it up pretty well. These burritos are the true meaning of life! No, seriously, they’re really good. You have to give this restaurant a try.Rating: 8/10 tasteperiod.blogspot.com
Awesome food. great price. good location. there was only one thing i didnt like about the outside. it looks like a trash dump. once ou step outside theres all kinds of trash. maybe not the responsibility of the owner to clean, but my sugesstion box paper is to clean the immediate area outside. i know this is a food review place and im complaining about the cleanliness, but its a determining factor for my return to a restaraunt, even if i thought the food was good.
One of the 5 best in SoCal. I just read that Sunset Magazine rated El Patio as one of the 4 best burritos in SoCal. High Praise. Nice to see them getting some recognition!22 Feb, 2008Chile verde that melts in your mouth. I just visited for lunch and had a very good chile verde plate. The chile verde just melted in your mouth. It had deep green chile and pork flavors. While I was there lots of people came in and most ordered the shredded beef tacos. Need to try those next time.
