Pretty good, simple popsicles that adds the option of customization.I tried the pistachio gelato bar that had some pistachio flavor but not much. That’s not to say it wasn’t delicious, just not that much of the pistachio flavor is present. I added half milk chocolate, caramel corn and white chocolate drizzle. These added to the popsicles flavor but even without them, the pop would still be pretty good.Popbar is a cool spot to check out especially on a hot day like the day I visited.Visit date 3/7/2015

PIck a bar flavor, pick a dip, pick a coating. So many choices, so many bar variations. You should come everyday and try a different combination until you have tried them all.

Lots of hype for something that’s overpriced, takes a long time to acquire, and only lasts about a minute in your hand. The hype makes it popular and it’s cool that you can customize it any way you want and still pay one price but at the end of the day, after waiting in the ridiculous line, I turned over to Steph and just sorta shrugged my shoulders. We weren’t really wow’d by it. Was it delicious? Sure. Worth another go? Nope. If you want a treat, be my guest and wait in line. There are lots of flavors and customization options but if you want to skip all that, just walk over to Han’s. Line is shorter and you’ll get a much better treat for an even better price point. forktopen.com

Popaholic (P-p-h-lik) n.1. A person who consumes a popbar with a high chance of becoming addicted. The popaholic eagerly waited in line at the Packing House District in Anaheim, customized their gelato on a stick, and snapped a photo. Are you a popaholic?!Popbar was originally founded in New York City, and fortunately made its way to the west coast as a franchised business on the second floor of the Packing House District in Anaheim, CA. The Packing House just opened up a few months ago with many eateries and bars to choose from.Strawberry Sorbetto dipped in milk chocolate, drizzled with white chocolate topped with almondsHazelnut Gelato dipped in milk chocolate, drizzled with milk chocolate topped with hazelnutsAll of their popbars are made with natural ingredients and real fruits to guarantee an authentic and fresh taste with no preservatives! There is no artificial coloring, and their Popsorbettos are even vegan and lactose-free!This ice cream spot is definitely a head turner with the display of gelato/sorbetto selections and long lines. Have you ever wondered why this place draws in crowds with the line often wrapping around the second floor? Because you cant get your very own customized bar anywhere else, and its tasty! There are a few easy steps to customizing your very own popbar:1) Choose your flavor (sorbetto, gelato, or yogurtpop)2) Select your dippings (premium dark chocolate, milk chocolate, mint dark chocolate, or white chocolate); Feel free to fully dip, half dip, or drizzle any of the selections!3) Pick your unlimited toppings (almonds, hazelnuts, pistachios, coconut, chocolate sprinkles, caramel corn, or crushed waffle cone)4) Ta da! Eat and enjoy your custom made popbar! Have you become a popaholic? #WELCOMETOTHECLUBHead on over to the Packing House District to enjoy your newfound addiction of Popbar, along with other #DonutsCookiesAndCream spots. donutscookiesandcream.com

I heard about Popbar and it’s notoriously long lines way before I made a visit. It’s a tiny popup shop in the middle of Anaheim Packing District. We had a choice between sorbet, yogurt and gelato pops and we went with Hazelnut pop with a dark chocolate dip(we went with full but you can choose to dip other half in another dip)and almonds. It was definitely decadent, creamy all the way. 5$ a pop is a-ok price to pay IMO.
