Fast, Fresh, Affordable. An Irvine native, this is my go-to restaurant. It is fast, fresh, and affordable. I love seafood and this establishment has a wide variety of options to cook seafood, from grilled fish platters to shrimp tacos. I always get the Cajun seasoned grilled Catfish with rice with Garlic butter sauce on the side. The garlic butter sauce on the side is the real kicker. It steps up the taste 1000x. Out of a scale of 1 to 10, I would rate this dish a 9/10. It’s a great comfort food (for me at least).For $9.50, you get a generous amount of fish, rice, cole slaw, and bread! You can’t beat this deal especially since you’re eating high quality, fresh seafood. Other dishes I’ve tried:Side of grilled Zucchini- 8.5/10- Yummmmmm, this is a great side if you want something to help reset your palette from all the seafood flavors.Fish Tacos- 8.5/10- They are a great size considering the price that you are paying! It’s delicious and a great fish taco.Fish and Shrimp Fried platter- 9/10 -Considering I loveeee fish and chips and shrimps, I absolutely fell in love with this dish. You get a generous portion and the items are fried to perfection and not greasy at all. The coleslaw is refreshing after eating all the fried goodness.

This place has no ambience. You order you food at a counter, get a number, and try and find a table, which is generally hard because the place is so crowded. The place was noisy, crowded, and filled with screaming kids. The fish, however, was terrific. I had the ahi tuna, served with french fries and coleslaw. They served me a huge ahi steak that was cooked to perfection. It was delicious. The price was very reasonable. I have paid a lot more for a lot less at fancier restaurants. Another nice touch was a sauce bar, where you could serve yourself with fresh tartar and coctail sauces. I definitely be back. This is one of the better bargains in southern California.
Fresh Fish without the high price tag. First time here today, had their salmon charbroiler plate, $10. Fish was still tender, not overly cooked like some places, and topped with a delicious cajun butter sauce. I skipped the included carbs of rice or fries, and they doubled my cole slaw portion.Be sure to get your order in before any lunch or dinner rush.
~CD~. Not too shabby for a quick fish meal. This isnt a restaurant by any means, more like a cross between fast food and a restaurant to be exact. It’s pretty cheap and relatively quick. The food was surprisingly good. I had fried shrimp tacos with a side of fries. They dont skimp on the shrimp or fries. Overall I’d give it a thumbs up if you are looking for a god meal quick and cheap.

Best seafood anywhere under $10.00. Favorite is Cajun seared Ahi salad. Excellent fish tacos too.
