Dim Sum for Lunch. If you have never tried Dim Sum, this is a great start. They travel through the restaurant with trays and carts of delicious dishes. The food is fresh out of the steamer or frier. You can eat as healthy as you like. Try the pea sprouts if they have them. Seasame Balls are an amazing sweet I save them for last.Be adventurous and try one new dish every time. Come early or late for Lunch as they get very busy every day, or you can take out.

Short of the mark. The place looks awesome. The staff is highly efficient and kudos to our server, Ivan, a young Chinese with the right attitude. Kind of like a new place in the heart of the Irvine Spectrum. Looked very regional and elegant so we walked in. Now for the food:Almond Shrimp Balls $9, tasty and served with a very nice sauce on the side. 6 balls came to the table, none left (4 Stars).Wor Won Ton Soup $12, very nice broth, dark and tasty and very thin, fat won tons with plenty of flavor, shrimp, chicken, pork and all the veggies accustomed with this dish (4.5 Stars).BBQ Pork $5, almost burned, covered with sauce to disguise the inferior meat presented, hard to chew but believe or not it still tasted like what it was supposed to be (1.5 Stars).Walnut Shrimp $17, expensive but plenty of shrimp arrived with the plate and they were of the large variety, accompanied by assorted very small cubes of melon and a bed of lettuce. Plenty of walnuts, sugary and al dente. Side note: we had ordered the Shrimp with Asparagus but a slip on part of our server brought this to the table. Since it looked big and possibly tasty we did not raise any waves and accepted the serving (4 Stars).Capital Fillet Mignon Cube $16, as for the mignon I have my reservations knowing how adept are the Chinese at tenderizing meat, still it was not bad and the serving was generous (3.5-4 Stars).Chef Fried Rice $18, biggest rip off of the night. Claimed to contain shrimp, scallop, calamari, etc. What came to the table was an average serving of flavorful white fried rice but the seafood in the place was minuscule and I seriously doubt all the ingredients mentioned in the menu were present (3.5 Stars).Service was a 4.5 Stars, the staff ever present and extremely well mannered, taking care of the tables very efficiently. Tea was good, water with a slice of lemon.3.5 Stars.

Pleasantly surprised…. Found this restaurant in an Asian strip mall. Dim sum was very good and plenty of servers who consistently approached our table. Ordering a large noodle dish to order was prompt and added a great dimension to the meal. The line outside is well founded. Place is a gem.

Favorite Chinese Dish. Is now officially the Honey Walnut Shrimp from Capital Seafood. Shrimp are big and tempura fried, in a delicious creamy sauce with diced cantelope, honeydew and candied walnuts. In-freaking-credible. Everyone at my table thought it was amazing. I would come back to this restaurant JUST for that amazing dish. If I am going to subject myself to fried foods, please let this be my waistline’s downfall.

Walked in and sat down and was immediately bombarded by servers with Dim Sum. Did not try anything else, but the Dim Sum was pretty satisfying and service was pretty incredible. It was really reasonable as well – had quite a bite to eat, (3) people walking away fully satisfied for $35.Would go back for more at a later date.

Good, plentiful, food. Every dish we had was tasty. The ambience is upscale diner, so not very fancy. Our waiter was extremely engaging and helpful. Overall, an enjoyable experience. KGL

Variety of food: 6.5/10. The first time I went here was end of year 2009. Now recently vacationing in USA again, I went back to it because I was craving for dim sum so I asked my family members to take me here for brunch. To be honest, 2009 was so much better than 2010. Maybe because we were seated at a corner therefore the food trolley was not pushed to our section a lot. So make sure, whoever that dines here, to be seated out in the opening of the restaurant where all the staff can see you when you ask for something. And of course the food trolley does get pushed out in the open more than it does for someone who is seated in a corner.Other than that, its a nice place to eat. I shouldn’t be biased to it because I did enjoy it during my 2009 trip here.
