Dos Chinos Truck, this was actually at the RV Show. We went here for the OC Food Truck, and they were here as well. After eating at the Oc Food Truck, I was still a little bit hungry, and I mean there’s another food truck (Dos Chinos) so why not right? The truck stood out a lot, being purple, and a lot of art work on the back of the truck. Dos Chinos is a truck that serves tacos and burritos with asian/mexican style! Looking at their menu I was mixed on what to get. As I stood there, one of the workers greeted me, and i asked what was the top three selling tacos. He offered the Garden Grove Taco, Hollywood Taco and lastly was the Bolsa Taco. So I ordered one of each.I first got the Garden Grove Taco and Hollywood Taco, he mentioned that the bolsa taco will take a little longer than those two. I loved that each taco was $2.50, but the garden grove taco was $3.00.Garden Grove Taco – Short rib taco, marinated with mexican/korean bbq sauce and topped off with sour cream. This was an amazing tasting taco, the marinade of the short ribs was out of this world. The meat was cooked perfectly, juicy and tender!!! My favorite out of the three! And seriously for three bucks, it puts me in deep regret on why I didnt order more!Hollywood Taco – Thai coconut curry chicken with tamarind and sour cream. This was also very amazing!! Seriously felt like I was at my favorite thai place, and giving up rice for lent, having it on a taco filled the void. The taste of coconut was popping out on each bite which I loved, and the tamarind made it even better, the chicken had a nice texture to it all, really an amazing taco as well.Bolsa Taco – Vietnamese roast pork belly with dos chinos salsa verde. The second I picked this up from the taco, the first thing that came into my mind was GIANT SISIG!…if you dont know what Sisig is, its a filipino dish, look it up! I am not a big fan of sisig, but hey I have to try it, so I took one bite, and well it was how i knew it would be. The texture of the fat was chewy and rubberish, and a small crunch from the fried skin on the outside of it, my cousin who loves sisig said the taco was delicious, he even ate all the left over meat that was on the plate. If you love sisig, you will love this taco!Ssp Final Thoughts:If you love taco’s, specially ones that are made perfectly, and paired together with amazing sauces and what not, Dos Chinos is the place to go. Make sure you try the garden grove taco, cause seriously it was an amazing taco!

Happy accident. I found these guys after a Sleigh Bells concert in Costa Mesa outside of Detroit Bar. LONG wait for my food, but wow, delicious. I got a pork burrito with an unusual blend of Asian and Mexican flavors. Somehow, it all works. The fries with clarified butter are a must! I’m looking forward to finding them again someday.
