Gulliver’s is located outside the John Wayne airport. From outside you don’t get a feel of what’s within but the moment you step in the tarvern feel hits you , big booths , huge chandeliers like in LOTR , for a second feels like in BagEnd.Since I was alone I just seated myself inside , was probably not the thing to do , the waitress was amazed I did. However the elderly ladies were were chatty and personal with the regulars .I ordered the double roasted chicken and I got served a ton of food. I could eat everything but the chkn was nice and tender , the sides were good but probably too much. I was being checked upon very often.Couldn’t eat the entire plate but whatever was in the plate was great … thegastronomix.net

Wow!!. It was our 2nd visit to Gulliver’s and even more impressive than the first. It is great to walk into a restaurant these days where you feel appreciated and respected. We must have had 4-5 different people thanking us for our business during this visit. And ohh, by the way, the food and service were amazing!!01 Mar, 2011WOW!!!. We loved it. This was our second visit and just like to first it was amazing!! Man…it is great to walk into a restaurant these days were you feel appreciated and respected. The staff was great, the food amazing and we probably had 4 different people thank us for coming in during our visit.
Used to be good, not anymore. This used to be a great restaurant. Their prime-rib and creamed corn were simply amazing. And the ambience of the restaurant used to be so nice! Quiet, a little dark, a nice place for special occasions. But now… you’re basically walking into TGIF or IHOP. It’s over-crowded, loud, noisy, and the food is half as good as it used to be. It’s really sad when you think about what this place has become.
