Bella Pita was my first eatery in Los Angeles. A small quaint little take away joint, with very limited seating, but seating nonetheless. Falafels could easily be one of my favorite foods. So I was pretty excited to eat here. A veggie friendly, pocket friendly and almost all self service place. We ordered: 2 Veg. Falafels Pita and Hummus They have an array of veggies and sauces neatly kept in pans at the counter. They give you your order and you can add your veggies and sauces in whatever way or quantity you want – but you can help yourself only once. Refills are chargeable I assume. They have some really delicious sauces that we took in addition to the Hummus for our Pita breads. The pita’s were soft, not crusty, chewy or flaky. Quite on point! The Veg. Falafels on the other hand were absolutely delicious – stuffed with goodness! It’s the sauces that add all the flavour to your bullets and veggies (the bullets were pretty darn amazing too). Any concoction or any combination of sauces you put into your falafel is 100% going to taste good. You will definitely not be disappointed. Food – 4/5Service – 3.5/5Ambiance – 3/5Value for Money – 4/5A great place to get some great Mediterranean cuisine that has options for vegetarians too. Their Wowshi is supposedly raved about. I can’t remember why we didn’t try that – maybe we had ordered too much already to call it a quick snack – but make sure you try it or any of their other food, if you stop by at Bella Pita. Great food, definitely recommend it.
Tasty pitas and falafel. Try hot sauce.
Amazing!. Always dependable and always amazing! What’s not to love about warm toasty fresh-made bread? Good food served fast…I have no complaints and nothing bad to say!
Best Falafel in LA!. I love this place! I started going there ever since they opened, and still crave it at least once a week. Too bad Ezedin left, he definitely made the place better. You could tell that he made your food with love. (And too bad they raised their prices, still only $4.50 for the best falafel in town!) Their falafel is amazing, it has just the right blend of spices and the pita is very soft and fresh. Their salad and condiment bar is also exceptional, everything is fresh. I love how you can make your falafel sandwich just how you like it, with the perfect amount of tomoatoes, cucumbers, pickles, hummus, etc. This place is so good, and since it’s so fresh, it’s hard to get sick of it or feel guilty about eating there so often.
Best Falafel!. This place has some amazing Egyptian recipe falafel and the sauce bar complements it so well. The owner is really friendly. My roommates eat the wowshi, but he let them try out the falafel and they loved it.
