Very good food. If any anyone who is craving to eat good Indian food this is the place to go. Having eaten Indian food around the country was very nervous to try. But I am happy to have done it.
After recommendations from my UCLA friends drove all the way from downtown USC to try this trendy Indian restaurant in Westwood village….I must say they have done great job with ambience by keeping it warm,simple n trendy (unlike most Indian restaurants…decorating with sarees n cheap stuff). Most I enjoyed is the Bollywood Bites House Specials that has the rearest Indian street food ‘Pani Puri’.ordered Eggplant bharta, chicken korma thali (that is there dinner special Thali),lamb vindaloo …all was perfectly flavored n spiced as per our request of medium to spicy. All my friends enjoyed the food with friendly young servers n Bollywood movie that was playing there.Overall great first experience n definitely looking forward to visit again next time I am in Westwood n will recommend this to my family n friends 🙂
Excellent food. Having eaten in the past at the Indian Restaurant at the same address (which I enjoyed), I must say that the new management has taken one step or more upping the quality, the delicate nature of the dishes, and excellent service as well. The chicken marsala had a wonderful taste, the smoked eggplant excellent flavor (if you like spicy go for it, the medium spicy was fine for most) and the samosa was the finest and most delicate I’ve ever eaten. Bravo for Bombay Bite!
