Dimly-Lit Faux French Cafe Ordinaire. The only reasons to come here:(1) Convenient rendez-vous point before or after a FlyAway shuttle ride;(2) You need a place to get work done, with WiFi, that’s open until midnight or 1 a.m.Otherwise, I don’t think it’s really worth the expensive prices for very ordinary coffee and food. In fact, as a work space, the lighting is really inadequate. OK for laptops maybe, but not for reading. Not sure why you’d come for any other reason (like just for fun, or a date…).Choices are limited in Westwood, but if you’re looking for a nicer study vibe, you could try Literati Cafe in Brentwood; for better French baked goods, Amandine does a decent job. For better coffee (with classical music), there’s Peet’s nearby, or even Novel Cafe across the street serves a better brew (with refills).
