FABULOUS. AWESOME. TOTALLY FAIR. I’m from San Diego and I drive all the way to Los Angeles to visit my relatives during summer. I make sure that I don’t leave LA without visiting my favorite restaurant, Flame. I was there on Labor Day… the food was FABULOUS, the service was AWESOME and the price is TOTALLY FAIR. I highly recommend this place.
I’ve been going here for more than a year now and Flame just keeps getting better. The atmosphere is upscale. The waiters are very nice and friendly. The food is HEAVENLY!!! I will recommend the following dishes which happened to be my top 3: Rack of Lamb, Ghemeh Bademjan and Chicken Kebab. This place is AMAZING!!!
Clearly the people with the negative reviews are not Persian and do not have an appreciative taste for the wonderful food here. I, on the other hand, am Persian and had the eggplant borrani, yogurt borrani, mustokiar, lubia polo with ground beef. It was phenomenal. My friend had the zesh polo with the chicken. Obviously the people dining here are not familiar with Persian food and don’t know how to order. I had a fabulous meal, as well as all the other people I have taken there. Thank you Flame!! Only bummer, they do not sell alcohol there.
Tasteless, only great thing is their bread and butter
Food is tasteless… Should have $$ next it. Probably won’t ever come back
A quick glance into this retaurant makes you believe that you made the right desicion about having food here. But it ends right there, food was tasteless, even their Persian tea was undrinkable. While walking down the streets of Tehrangeles you would expect that the food would be exquisite, San Jose has much better Persian restaurants namely negin, Arya to name a few.
