Service is good. The food is mediocre. If you fancy Persian food then give this a go, but don’t expect brilliant food……………………. theistanbullite.com
We stopped for lunch and were impressed with the service and the food. The braised lamb shank was perfectly cooked. The salads were exceptionally fresh and the dressing had a hint of mint.
It’s all about the trust. I just dined with my son and when we walked back to the car the waiter stoped us to give me a $20 bill I droped under my seat. Add this to the best grill in town and you got a place you love to come back to.
Brilliant Restaurant. I saw chefs working their magic inside a Glass-enclosed kitchen and flames flickering from Natural Mesquite Charcoal Broiler & Shawarma Machines. Shamshiri Grill is Airy and easygoing by day, Exotic and Romantic by night. I think Shamshiri Grill takes an All-around Mediterranean approach to an award winning selection of wine and Middle Eastern Cuisine; personalizing traditional recipes and offering Vegan variations otherwise unavailable in LA. So far every thing I have tried has been excellent.
The food is great. The service is not. They never tell you that they add gratuity of 15% to a table of 5 or more. Watch out for this. I had a waiter rudely demand that everyone our party order a main dish (the restaurant was not even half full). I don’t mind when restaurants have these rules, but they need to be clearly set out before I sit down. This restaurant definitely has worked out the ‘trap’.
I had a very bad experience at this place. If you like to impress your guests do not try this place. The manager will ask you to move from one table to another during your dinner. They will grab your table and move your table to make room for their friends. If you refuse to stop eating and move to another table the manage will be angry and confrontational.
Quality has gone way down. Went there last night and got the lamb shamshiri special . Last time i was here two years ago and it was amazing, jucy and full of flavor. This time it was bland, unseasoned and a let down. Would not go back. Next time I’m going to sharzad or flame down the.street
