This location has a ton of history. It features a lively bar and great intimate seating areas besides the main dining room.The food is excellent. I recommend the Meatballs as a starter along with their fabulous guacamole. The Chicken Marsala is excellent, along with the Penne Arbiata.Definitely check out this spot.
Delicious food with a very accommodating staff. I felt a bit underdressed in my shorts and t-shirt as I sat down at the white linen table but I was treated as though I was their most loyal customer. They had to build a dish from scratch for my wife due to her dietary restrictions and pulled it off without a hitch. Steak frites for me which was cooked to perfection. The owner, David, even stopped by for an extended chat. This is one establishment we will definitely be revisiting.
Decent, but seriously over-priced for what it is. Although lovely ambiance and service, the food is *seriously* over-priced for what you get. With so many great kitchens in LA, stay away from this one.We got the halibut, and the lamb. Perhaps the cheaper dishes are more worth their buck.
Exceptional,. Attended a business meeting dinner at the Skylite Gardens last Thursday night in their private dining room. This room was excellent and beautifully set up and decorated, though their main dining area was also very inviting with skylights and greenery … Simply lovely! Excellent service (Peltan! Wow – elegant, professional, not to mention very easy on the eyes!), great wine selections and exceptional food. I had the ceasar salad (would have preferred dark green romaine instead of white hearts), Salmon (which had a delightful subtle sauce and perfectly prepared) with a side of healthy, tasty steamed spinach, and a delicious, delicate Tiramasu. Enjoyed it so much, would have gone again with a friend the next day if I didn’t already have plans. Have already raved about our dining experience with colleagues and friends. Will visit again! P.S. Valet parking was very courteous, helpful and a reasonable $4. Thank you all!
