Shrimp on a BiscuitThose shrimps do not taste fresh. And the taste of shrimp is combined to those fruits, which is quite disgusting. But those two poached egg were cooked perfectly. And luckily the flavour of the asparagus goes well with the sauce and biscuit.Green Tea Latte & Vanilla LatteI would prefer a stronger green tea taste.
I’m in Long Beach for a work conference, all the way from North Carolina. I’ll tell you, having food allergies makes travel really tedious and stressful. And being from Chatham County NC has made me really spoiled for awesome eats and local foods. This place relieved my angst. I had a really nice salad of kale and pea shoots with sprouted beans. Then I had a yellow chicken curry with coconut milk. My server was mindful of my allergies. The kitchen was too. P.S. the ambience is interesting, too.
Great coffee and excellent service. We drove around long beach for a while before we found this place. The name kind of threw us off because it has nothing to do with coffee but who cares. We like it.
Vegan chocolate chip cookie? Yes! It’s decadent and delicious. Berlin is a refreshing and hip little cafe. It features a roll up wall/ garage door that lets the outside in when it’s nice out. There’s a community like table in the front and more of a private seating area toward the back. Outdoor seating is also available. A laid back and retro atmosphere with exposed brick walls. While I tend to favor a leading franchise for my lattes, I would definitely visit this cafe again, but not for my usual. I returned for a second visit: one for the amazing vegan chocolate chip cookie, which is rich and decadent: Two, I read another review that suggested the Mexican mocha with hemp milk and it was delicious! I also ordered the turkey and cheese croissant, which was good, but nothing extraordinary.
