I’ve had better service. Food was great although I never got to try the mac and cheese I ordered since it kept disappearing from the expo station.

An OK Chain BBQ. Tuesday lunch for two, service prompt and pleasant with explanation of the sauce choices [eight different in squeeze bottles]. The wife had the lunch special combo plate [one meat, one side, with paper wrapped corn bread muffin] $8.95 and I had the two meat combo, one side, same muffin, for $12.95. Interesting comparison of the two combo plates; we both had the spare ribs, and my second meat was rib tips. My TWO MEAT plate came with two spare ribs and four rib tips while the wife’s ONE MEAT plate came with THREE spare ribs. The spare ribs were much better [meatier] than the rib tips, and the one meat plate was the better choice for less cost by about one-third less.

Very nice, the award winning southern style BBQ. Please try all the sauces, unique and giving you a good memory for long time .

Huge huge and I mean huge portions! Friendly service, still felt full the following day!!!!!

Had the 1/3 rack, the ribs were perfect, firm but fall off the bone. Enjoyed the sweet BBQ and glaze. The slaw was sweet with a vinegar bite, very good. My firecracker green beans were spicy but limp and over done. Corn on the cob was mush, completely inedible, I spit out the bite. My Mai Tai’s were yummy and potent, feeling good right now. Service was spot on. Our server shared with the Manager how the veggies were inedible and they tried to rectify it but I was full and we were ready to go. When in Long Beach I would be happy to gorge on the ribs again.

FANTASTIC!!!! I’ve been cooking professionally for over twenty years and BBQ is my specialty. Fall off the bone and spoon tender. Hats off, I was impressed.

Love it. Just remember its a chain. It’s obvious when you get there, but that doesn’t mean the food’s not good. it is. It’s just that I like the originality of a unique spot. Food’s great; service is great. super location.
