La Bettola means hole in the wall in itallian. This place is small yet very cozy and it’s the best Italian food in the OC. It’s very easy to get on a first name basis with the staff. On Fri & Sat there is a guitar player for your listening enjoyment. When we think Italian, it’s La Bettola.
Amazing tiramisu. The wine, pasta, and carpaccio were good, but the Tiramisu was the best I have had at an Italian restaurant. If you love Tiramisu, you need to try it at La Bettola!However, be prepared to wait. The service took a long time. We sat and waited before even getting menus. Then we waited for our server to take our order. The food took a long time. Then we waited for the bill. Only dine if you are not rushing somewhere else afterward or you might be late :/I have been told the salmon is good so I think that is what I will try on my next visit.
Completely Underwhelmed. Visited La Bettola for dinner and was totally unimpressed with service and quality of food. Service was very slow – my husband ordered both soup and salad and never even received his salad. The Fettucini Betolla which was recommended by several people was bland and tasteless, the Fettucuni Alfredo was worse. Have had better meals at Olive Garden.
You have to try this place. It’s small and cozy and tucked away in a strip mall. The food was fabulous!!!
True Italian Food. The fish is as fresh as it gets and as the owner will tell you he either fished it himself or buys it fresh at the docks. You can tell by one taste it is fresh. Any of the specials are outstanding. You can trust the chef’s palate. I love the chicken la bettola (chicken, pasta, sun dried tomatoes and an incredible sauce) but I do order other items. Usually one of the many specials. The owner really is from Italy and loud in a pleasant way. The staff are engaging. The decor isn’t anything to write about but the food makes up for decor. The place is small, cozy and very homey. You’ll feel comfortable there. The bread and garlic oil they initially bring out is delicious and a perfect combo. Basically I hog the whole portion. The dinner portions are generous and you’ll want to bring the leftovers home. I haven’t been there for lunch. Desserts had always been their weak spot but since I haven’t ordered any in a while…. They have some good wines.
Best Italian Food in Yorba Linda. My boyfriend and I love La Bettola!!!! The atmosphere is relaxing, the employees are wonderful…and the food is to die for!!!!!!! Everything about La Bettola is amazing…its the whole experience that I love. From walking in the front door, and being welcomed into the resturaunt..to the delicious bread with the dipping sauce…it has garlic chucks floating in olive oil…YUMMMMM!!! My favorite dish is Rigatoni Arribiata…extra spicy. Ive had the salmon before and it was also fantastic!!! I would definitly rate La Bertolla +10 and 2 thumbs up!!!!
