Please do not support racist business owners.. The restaurant claims to have been here since 1960. I felt like it was still 1960. Then, it would have been expected that a drunken owner would make a racist comment. I came in with an African American friend and this drunken jerk said something so despicable that we just got up and walked out in disgust. So, if you are reading this and deciding where to eat, you can go here. Just remember….you are who you eat with.
Went to try this out this evening. We sat for about 10 minutes before menus were brought to us. They need more servers. However, I completely understand why a waitress would not work there. We don’t even know if the food is good. Before we were even able to get our food served to us, the owner was yelling and cursing at a child, he was intoxicated and be gain to have an argument with a staff member (believe it was the wife). We decided to leave at this point. We asked the waitress if we could just pay for our salad so we could leave. I do not recommend going unless you are will to support this owner. We will not be returning no matter how good the food could be.
Great!. I have read some of the other reviews and I have no idea WHAT these people are talking about. This place is fabulous, homemade pasta is amazing as well as the homemade sauce and meat. That’s right HOMEMADE is does not come form a can. I love Tuesday night pizza night, it has always been clear that it is $11 one topping and $1 more for each add on topping. I have never had a bad experience with the owner, he might have his bad days but who doesn’t! The wait staff has always been VERY friendly and work their butts off! I love everything about this place, from the staff to the pasta and pizza. We dine here or get take out at least once a week, we also have had many birthday parties here and they have been very accommodating with letting us make reservations and large groups. To all the people who posted negative reviews I think you were just looking for free food, and to the person who said they had a bad experience on Tuesday night pizza night with their waiter, I know all the staff there and there is no waiters ever on a Tuesday night only waitresses so I do not believe your story, plus I have never been charged wrong. I love this place and hate seeing bad reviews that are untruthful. I would defiantly recommend this restaurant!!
Bad owner good food. The owner screamed at my small children and me because my 4yr old swung on his door handle at the enterance. He continued to rant to his staff about the minor incident for fifteen min after. We have patroned this establishment for years because the food is good. However, we will never go back due to the owners unacceptable behavior and attitude. Don’t support this tyrant!
Tasteless Food – Awful Service. This Pizza place has the worst service in all of Colorado. I got one small glass of ice tea for the whole dinner. If you like spaghetti don’t go here. The spaghetti sauce is straight out of the can. It was like water down tomato sauce. Not once after being served did the waitress stop by to see if everything was good. I was thirsty from the dry pasta and had no drink. I was with my wife and we just left some moneys on the table when leaving cause the waitress never bother to take our plates or ask if we wanted desert. I just got to tell you I never seen or tasted something so bad. Bad, bad, bad service !!! I am a local Arvada neighbor and I will tell all my neighbors not to go to this awful pizza place.
I’m 22 years old and have gone to Arvada Villa all my life. I can’t say enough about this place. The service is as friendly as you will find and the food is amazing. I have grown up on their pizza, which is amazing, and their homemade spaghetti is my favorite dish around. I would recommend this restaurant to anyone I know.
Simply the best thin crust pizza in Denver. My family has been eating here since the mid 1960s. The home made pasta is wonderful as well.
