Huge Let Down. My favorite food is Chinese, and as a kid I always went to China Terrace off 88th and Wadsworth. I was super bummed when it went out of business. Earlier this year I noticed a place called China Terrace in a new location and had to check it out. It’s the same owners and I asked if they were using the same recipes as in the past. I was super excited to hear them say it was supposed to be the same recipes. Well this couldn’t be farther from the truth! I went once and the location is depressing and the food mediocre at best. After that time, my parents have brought me left overs several times because I love Chinese so much. Each time I eat the happy family, a dish I normally love, I want to throw up. The meat tastes spoiled and the sauce has zero flavor (the sauce is supposed to be brown but it is virtually clear-as as the kung pao shrimp I got that first time). If my parents like this dish/place then it is for sure bland as cane be! They shouldn’t be allowed to keep the name China Terrace!
