The food is always good…. The food at George’s is good. It’s not a posh place, it’s a small diner that could, admittedly, use a good scrub and an update. But the food is ALWAYS good and the servers aren’t on you constantly like in some places. Definitely prefer George’s over IHOP or VI any day.
Great food. Wonderful people. Reasonable prices for a neighborhood place. We always try to support the little guys. They are like family and treat all the patrons as such. Thanks. Barb & John
Always had great experiences at George’s! Like the eclectic nature of the place, not meant to be posh, just a diner. Think Seinfeld!
Never again. George is the kind of owner that’s always looking to cut corners. Not a place I’ll ever go back to.Mediocre food, erratic service. And dirty!
Short of Average. We stopped in on Saturday night to try Georges Cafe after reading the reviews in the Arvada sentinel. First off the the place was filthy (they failed to mention that in the article) the decor was old and in need of many repairs. Yes we were seated quickly and the server was very nice, although the orders were messed up. Every thing we ordered was either out of a can or the freezer, no creativity to the menu or the meals. The little plastic containers for the dressing and sauces have got to go. No a place I will recommend to friends or family.
Miss it terribly!!!. I lived near George’s for 15 years. George is a great guy, treated my mother-in-law like a queen whenever she came in with us. The SOB (breakfast burrito) is to die for! I always got mine with bacon, green chile is awesome. Everyone we ever took there agreed that it was some of the best food ever. Prices are reasonable too. Service is top-notch & George has alot of jokes to share 🙂 Wish I could get the chile shipped overnight to New Orleans, no one here knows Colorado/New Mexico style green chile. Miss y’all!
Tasteless omlette and the worst potatos I have ever had. The gren chili was bland. And finally, what kind of Greek cafe has no spinoch on the menu … Ever?!?!?
