A surprisingly enjoyable meal. I came to this restaurant with friends, on our way to performance at the Arvada Center. I was a bit hesitant to come here given my very disappointing experiences with Chinese food in north Denver.The food was well prepared, service was quick and the atmosphere was beautiful.
Namikos is an outstanding sushi/Japanese restaurant with relaxing and appealing decor, polite and attentive servers , and sushi that makes your taste buds dance! For those who don’t care for sushi bur are along for the ride, their menu has a pleasant choice of Japanese foods as well. Splendid place to go for lunch or dinner and they have gluten free soy sauce if you request it!
Love this place. The best and most interesting sushi in town! Decor is fun and festive. Service is friendly. Sit at the sushi bar.

This place used to be really good. I don’t know what happened. It went to crap. Tempura is awful, teryaki tasted like something out of the bottle from Wat-Mart, and the sushi was just poor. Rice falling apart, specialty rolls had way too much mayo, pretty much just all bad across the board from food to service. Save the money and just get better better food next door at Subway. Seriously.
YUCK, DOUBLE YUCK, DO NOT EAT HERE, RUN AWAY. We are looking for a sushi place near us since we moved across town from our normal place. At first this place looked promising, it was busy and everyone looked happy. Both my wife and I looked at each other and thought we may have found our new place. That was untill our food came. Our order was simple; tempura veggies, a spicy tuna roll, and a house specialty roll that the waiter said was his favorite. It had tuna, cucumbers, and mystery sauce that tasted to me like plain mayo.First off I would like to say our appetizer came out after we had finished out meal. The tempura veggies tasted like they were cooked in burnt old oil, didn’t taste fresh at all, and who ever cooked them paid no attention to detail. In fact they reminded me of veggies you get in the frozen food section.The Rolls we ordered were tiny and exspensive. I have seen better looking pieces of tuna in the frozen food section. The tuna was mushy reminded me almost of mashed potatoes.To top off the horrible food the waiter gives us the check, and after we hand him our card he comes back and says there was a mistake and he would be back with a new ticket. I thought to my self hey they overcharged us and they are going to make it right. When the check came back it was 7 dollars more exspensive…….. Yeah we will never ever be back. Food quality sucks, overpriced, service sucked, the only upside I can think about this place is it has a lot of cool aquariums to look at. DO NOT EAT HERE!!!
