Don’t let the sketchy exterior or outdated decor hold you back. The fact is this restaurant serves well prepared cuisine that is fresh, textural, beautiful and tasty. A few tweaks and updates to the decor could make the Treasure Pot a fine dining venue.

OMG So Good. I believe the Ralston/Independence area of Arvada should be called Asian Gold. There are more excellent Asian restaurants in the strip from Wads and 52 to Tams on Kipling then I have every found everywhere including San Francisco and Los angeles. Tonight I was surprised again by the Treasure Pot that is so consistent. I usually have the Lo Mein and Wor Won Ton soup. Middle of the road to be sure but they do it so well. Tonight I had their Curry Chicken (Spicy, Crispy, and meaty) and their BBQ ribs. I give it a perfect score card and I will continue toi relish living in this Asian gold mine.

I ordered the sesame shrimp and wonton soup for $13. The shrimps were small with LOTS of breading and covered with peas and carrots that tasted freezer burned. This was also served with carrots that were good and broccoli that looked a sick pale green and cauliflower that was almost mushy. The soup was VERY small and really salty. I do NOT recommend this restaurant.
