It’s such a cute place. The interior is amazing and very cozy. The service is awesome, the food was ok. Not bad but I have had better French cuisine. Here are the pictures for you to judge.
My husband and I went here last week. We happen to come across it just walking around for a dinner place. We had the fondue which was fabulous. It was the best fondue we had both had. Luckily the fondue was on a special deal so it was at a discounted price than normal. The atmosphere was super cute and provided for an intimate setting.
Creme Brulee Crepe – oui oui. It is OK to skip the main course and go right to the dessert! While the Creperie Du Village offers many crepe options for dessert, I have fallen in love with the Crme Brulee crepe. A thin crepe smothered with crme brulee and then sugar torched to create the perfect crusted top. Each time I order it (with or without an entre) I accompany the presentation with a delicious fresh Americana coffee! I hope heaven is this good!15 Sep, 2013Within my top 5 meals – period!. I have been back to the Creperie Du Village in Aspen multiple times and each time I have tried a different item on the menu. Each time I find a new taste bud to excite! If you do not know the difference between going out to eat and how to enjoy S-L-O-W food then you will not understand Mountain French Cooking. Chef Jason should be considered an artist – so pretend you are at a gallery taking your time – taking it all in. The atmosphere is perfect and will transform your timeline and thought process to one of relaxation. The owner Raphael, strives to deliver what he promises – great French food with authentic dcor in a great mountain town. I love to cook duck and have not been able to come close to the presentation given to me of a spinach, duck and peaches salad. The dessert crepes are outstanding as is the coffee. This is a hidden gem that many of the local Aspenites do not even know about – they are below street level and have grown by word of mouth alone! If you can find Wells Fargo in downtown you are on the opposite street corner. Wonderful!
Just had lunch here. What a cool place. Very cozy and the food was good. Sweet was a better then the savory and the coffee was very good.
It has bad food bad service we waited 2 friken hours for our food then they came and said they were unable to make my crepe and we got a fondue for three people and it was 60$ friken dollars and they charged my friend an extra 4$ to change the type of cheese on her crepe I do not recommend this place do not go there!!!!!!
Over Salted Food & Slow Service. We decided to try this place one night after approached by a promoter. This place is HORRIBLE! Its full of long haired, bearded hippies who don’t understand what good service is. This is Aspen not Boulder. Take your tie-dye and peace signs somewhere else. It took soooo long to get even a glass of water. Furthermore, once receiving the food it had so much salt it was inedible. I informed the waiter who didn’t seem to care at all. Do yourself a favor and move on to the next place.
Sweet little slice of Europe, which aspen soooo needed. Great food, good prices, nice atmosphere
