Check your credit card statement. The food is beautiful, accommodates gluten intolerance. But after eating here twice we have had $$$ charged to the credit card, on both occasions, above what was signed for and 20% tip. When confronted restaurant said this was automatic and would be returned within 48hrs if original payment was received. Makes no sense. Never had this anywhere else. Sad as food is great.
Did not like it at all. They had us in and out of there in 49 min if you are spending that much in food you want a dining experience. My sushi roll tasted like it was made the day before and was not fresh. The decor was cheap, place itself was not well done
The only bad thing I can say about Matsuhisa is that the food is so amazing that it will ruin every other type of food that you eat, it’s that good.
Best restaurant in town. Aspen is full of wonderful eateries but MATSUHISAstands out in every single way.the food is always outstanding and is only surpassby the phenomenal service.try out the seabass with balsamic teriyaki and ask for David at the bar.
It is a great restaurant with fantastic choices of sushi and other japanese treats. For all of you tourists coming to my town, definitely eat at matsuhisa
Way over rated…. Average sushi. It’s busy and a full mature crowd…. Very average.
