Perfect pancakes. My boyfriend and i went to aspen for just a weekend and had many places to choose from for breakfast. we were both extremely happy we settled on poppycocks. we got our food quickly, it was all cooked just right, and the flavors were great. overall, the best breakfast we’ve eaten out in a very long time! try the oatmeal pancakes.
Hands down best bfast in aspen. Locally owne and operated, too
I keep dreaming of the oatmeal pancakes.
Best Pancakes on a cold day. A warm, cozy eatery that is worth the wait. It is hard to choose between the salmon eggs benedict and the oatmeal-filled, buttermilk pancakes but hopefully you are with a group and can try both! I can’t wait to go back.
A must go spot!. I have been in and out of Aspen for many many years and I always jump at the chance of going to Poppycocks for a meal. With friendly and attentive staff, this place is always bustling with customers. A must try are their Old Fashioned Oatmeal Buttermilk Pancakes and their Manhattan Eggs!
Definitely try the homemade pistacio sausage patties-yum!
Great little breakfast spot. The oatmeal pancakes are fab. Definitely worth upgrading your syrup and adding some fruit! Mmmm! Wife says blueberry and granola pancakes were also great!
