SH316 is simply outstanding and I concur with Diner D that the steaks are among the best I have enjoyed, (yet add) anywhere the world, anytime, ever!!The restaurant is properly sophisticated while not being pretentious or stuffy. From families to serious diners, all will enjoy the warm environment, filled with great tunes and muted conversations.The steaks are outstanding. I’ve been fortunate enough to enjoy Wagyu Kobe, on a few occasions, but for my taste in marbling and seasoning, I can’t say that I have had any finer. Any the diners form our table all agreed! I enjoyed the in-bone fillet of prime, others at our table enjoyed the fillet, strip and strip.For our sides we enjoyed the fries, twice cooked potatoes, brussel sprouts and asparagus. All were perfectly cooked, seasoned and presented to accompany our steaks.Certainly worthy of a top recommendation among Aspen’s finest…
I cannot understand why the establishment is not rated higher.The Steaks are by far the best I have had in the States and are definitely in the top 3 that I have eaten ever.The quality of the food is superb and the consistency of what is served is always spot on. It is a restaurant that I constantly recommend to all my friends when they are in Aspen.The ambience is masculine, yet warm and inviting and the service is out of this world. The prices are high, but what else do you expect in Aspen and I feel that for the experience received, you will be in for good value for money.I would definitely give a five star recommendation for 316.
