The Wild Fig is a cosy restaurant in the heart of Aspen. Seating about 30 diners, at any one time, the intimacy definitely adds to the experience, while not taking away from individual privacy; interestingly, the sound level is very well managed, meaning you never feel like you need to talk over yourself. The food and drink list is equally as impressive; Of course, you must indulge in the fig salad, which is fresh and lively and dressed beautifully with figs. The menu offers something for everyone and comprehensively caters for those with food allergies too. One of my more memorable dining experiences in Aspen.
Wonderful dinner. Great quaint atmosphere, great service and amazing food. Wonderful date night restaurant. Loved everything about it.
Mediocre food, less than mediocre service. Had dinner with my 17 year old daughter. I had clams with chorizo; she had the chicken entree. She had beignets for dessert. I had coffee. The food was good, maybe slightly better than okay. It was nothing special. The service was terrible. Perhaps this is due in part to the cramped quarters, but the overall experience was lacking, and the prices were above average. I know location is important, but I intend to choose another one of the nearby restaurants in the future, and I advise others to steer clear.
Absolutely loved it! Dinner was amazing, service was great. I’ll definitely be coming back.
Interior with lots of white tiles, like a sauna or swimming pool.. I enjoyed the ginger margarita.I was not impressed by the service. There aren’t many vegan options on the menu. I opted for the platter of greek appetizers. It was good, but nothing special.
Discourage visiting. Much better choices in aspen
