Great. Amazing. Strong drinks, nice mojito, and the grilled beef tenderloin was cooked perfectly and tasted amazing. Shrimp also good. Decent service.
Absolutely Horrible. I can’t stress enough how bad the service was. The restaurant should be ashamed with itself. 40 minutes passed between our appetizer being delivered and teh food. In that time not one server stopped by to see if we needed more water or another drink. When the food arrived it was cold and had obviously been sitting for a while. The server dropped the food off without removing our appetizer plate and without asking if we needed anything. The food was so cold I can’t give a review of of the taste. The gaucomole appetizer was bland and nothing special. After eating we had to walk to the bar to get our check and then was shorted 5 dollars on our change.
Correction. Juahaca, Mexico doesn’t exist. It’s OAXACA…..
Amazing food! Mike (the owner/head chef ) is there every night. He travels to Juahaca, Mexico to buy the peppers used in many of the dishes on the menu. The mojitos are the best in town. Using fresh mint. This well priced bistro is a locals hide-a-way.
