Food is great as expected, however the service was somewhat lacking. Our waitress barely checked in to refill water and the food took about an hour to come out. We were also placed right next to the cold exit. I’m sure it’s usually a nice restaurant but personally we didn’t have the best experience.
Was in Beaver Creek same time last year and the Chophouse was one our favourites. Back again today for lunch and found food prices had risen approx 25% and atmosphere had slipped somewhat. Then Found out that premises was under new management – appears a lot of new staff. Food quality was okay but nothing to rave about. I also found out that they had ditched the 3.30pm complementary champagne that they have had for the past couple of years which was pretty disappointing. We would always go to this and meet up with friends and end up spending $150+ in drinks and snacks and I am sure plenty of other also did. For our group we won’t bother doing this now. Not smart business!
