The only thing that kept me from rating this restaurant a 1 was the attentiveness of the service personnel and the manager. The ambiance was disappointing (although admittedly we were seated in the bar area outside the dining room, so I am not considering the general appointment of our surroundings in my evaluation). I ordered a house salad for starters. My companion had a spinach salad. Our collective impression of our respective salads is mediocre at best. The greens were not as crisp as they should have been and the house salad had an unusual blend of greens that, in my view, didnt work well together. In addition, I felt that the portion was on somewhat skimpy. For my main course, I ordered the blackened Scottish salmon. The doneness of the fish was as requested, but the blackened seasoning was tasteless. The fish was presented on a bed of roasted vegetables, and there were 4 or five somewhat crispy fried balls that lookedlike hushpuppies, but were mushy, particularly in the center. The vegetables (primarily broccoli and cauliflower) that bedded the salmon tasted as if they came out of a bag of frozen vegetables and were much colder than the other items on the plate. All in all this was a very disappointing main course. Hoping to find some redemption in our dinner, we ordered dessert. I ordered a brownie with ice cream and my companion ordered a pear cake with creme fresshe ice cream. The presentation was lovely, but the brownie was soggy and not brown – note of a light tan. Frankly, I cant describe the taste – but it totally missed the mark as a brownie. The chocolate sauce was thin,as if poured from a can. Although there are some good ready-made chocolate sauces, this just wasnt one of them. The pear cake was bland. In light of the preparation and quality of the dinner, I can readily say that we might have been better off suffering the outrageously pretentious no show charge of $50 per head had we not kept our reservation.

Excellent meal. Caesar and wedge salads were excellent. Double cut pork chop had excellent flavor. Short rib was delicious. Omnivore pizza was also enjoyable. Really enjoyed our dinners and would highly recommend.

Great pizza and pub grub at The Charter in Beaver Creek. Whether you are straying at The Charter or not, the artisan pizza is a welcome departure from local NY style pizzas. The bar is a warm setting for aprs whatever activities with great outdoor seating and a new staff eager to please.

Good service but mediocre food. Flavorless, overcooked salmon. Dried out kids burger.

Missing menu items. First off I would like to say the restaurant has potential, however not the night my family went. We starting our evening off at 8pm with the notification that the pasta of the day was no longer available – no bigge since a we weren’t planning on having the pasta. Our server wasn’t very knowledgable about there menu or wine list at all and his service was pretty slow. When we were able to get our dinner order in we were notified that the beef tenderloin was also not available- this didn’t sit too well since two out of the four of us wanted that as our main course. About 10 minutes after ordering the waiter comes back out and notifies us that the chili relleno (side dish for the ribeye) was also no longer available. It’s at this point we were certain this is going to be a very bad restaurant experience. Our food came out and the ribeye was mostly fat, the rest of the food was pretty good- the flatiron steak was great I thought – a bit too much peppercorn in the sauce for my liking… Which brings me to the final issue – we had requested the sauce be on the side since my wife does not enjoy peppercorn at all – this did not happen. She muscled through it just to be able to eat at the same time as the rest of us. I will not be returning to this restaurant when we come back in the summer.

Great place for a large group! Food tasted wonderful! Kids menu has lots I choices. The free bottle of wine with every 2 adult entrees is such a perk! Reasonable prices too. Everyone in noir party loved their food and that’s saying something considering we had 12.

Fabulous food, affordable prices!. Wow! The food at this gem is amazing! We tried 9 different items and each one was really delicious! I can’t quit thinking about the amazing scallops and lobster roll. The steak melts in your mouth, and the salads aren’t your run of the mill like most restaurants. The seven layer salad was so good I wanted a second one. You won’t be disappointed with your meal here. And the prices are so affordable. You will return again and again. I can’t wait for my next visit to Beaver Creek.
